With not much time left for the release ‘army of the dead’ is looking most promising action thriller of the year with its intense, catastrophic action and a unique ‘brain-ish zombies’ approach. It will be astounding to watch this movie.
2.The Tomorrow War
release: JULY 2 2021, ON AMAZON PRIME
‘The Tomorrow War’ is the sci-fi military action thriller starring Chris pratt as the main lead directed by Chris McKay. It is the director’s debut.
It has a decent story: ‘ futuristic aliens have attacked humanity, and they are trying to invade the earth. Chris has to lead his army to win this battle and defeat his nightmares to save earth’s future.’ looks promising. But, let us wait for the movie.
3.LUCA
release: June 18, 2021, on Disney +
Luca is Disney’s upcoming comedy-drama animation movie which Enrico Casarosa directs in his feature-length direction debut. The voices are given by Jacob Tremblay, Jack Dylan Grazer, Emma Berman, Marco Barricelli, Saverio Raimondo, Maya Rudolph, and Jim Gaffigan.
The trailer is hilarious. No matter you watch animation or not, its trailer will take you on a joyride. So, I highly recommend you to watch the trailer and refresh yourself out of these depressing times.
4.Black Widow
release: July 9, 2021, on Disney+
it is a superhero-action thriller “Marvel” movie starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow as the main lead and Florence Pugh, David Harbour, supporting characters directed by Cate Shortland.
Black widow is the most awaited Marvel movie from last year. Unfortunately, due to covid-19, it got delayed several times. Critics who have seen this say black widow has one of the best action sequences and hand-to-hand combat scenes in Hollywood. So let us wait for the movie release period.
5.Eternals
November 5 2021, disney+
Another much-awaited movie of marvel from 2019. It is a Historical-sci-fi action-drama movie. It is a multi-stare movie with Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, and Barry Keoghan as cast. Directed by Chloé Zhao.
It is inspired by marvel comics and is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. we just got the teaser last week, which is astonishing, in my opinion. ‘Eternal’ an immortal race of SEMI-GODS living on earth created by celestials to fight deviants. It would be great fun to watch a historical drama superhero classic.
6.Shang-chi and The Legend of Ten Rings
release:3 sept 2021, disney+
A Chinese-origin comic book character trained from the beginning to be stronger than anyone in combat skills. SHANG-CHI is another Marvel movie releasing this year with Simu Liu as Shang-Chi alongside Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
The trailer of Shang-chi was amusing and full of action with a great origin story of the lead and the villain. The movie surrounds a powerful mythological artifact called “TEN-RINGS,” which can give immense power to its user if wore altogether.
7.THE CONJURING 3: The Devil Made Me Do It
release: June 4, 2021, HBO MAX – OTT platforms
You must have heard of the SUPERNATURAL, HORROR AND THRILLER GENRE ‘CONJURING’ movie somewhere if you watch movies. The third instalment of the movie series stars Vera Farmiga as Lorraine Warren and Patrick Wilson as Ed Warren as the main cast. DIRECTED BY: Michael Chaves.
The movie is based on actual events of the life of Lorraine and Ed’s warren. This movie is the most horrifying incident in the files of Ed and Lorraine. It was the first court case of U.S history that involved demonic possession.
8.Awake
June 9, 2021, on Netflix OTT platforms
After a global event wipes out humanity’s ability to sleep, a troubled ex-soldier fights to save her family as a society, and her mind spiral into chaos.
Awake is a sci-fi, supernatural thriller movie Starring: Gina Rodriguez, Ariana Greenblatt, Frances Fisher. Directed by Mark Raso.
Its story is somehow similar to ‘BIRD BOX,’ but the concept is different approach is all new and shares another thrilling and chilling storyline and a great cast. No doubt Netflix is a freak-but-fun show.
