3 Most Beautiful Coastal Cities In Europe

What are the three most beautiful coastal cities that all of Europe has to offer? If your mind straightaway races to the glamorous decadence of the French Riviera or the rustic charm of the islands of Greece, then you’re thinking in the right direction. However, Europe has plenty more to offer which is exactly what we’ll be delving into today. Here is a trio of coastal cities also extremely deserving of the crown of the continent’s most prized possession.
Table of Contents
1) Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is home to a pair of breathtaking islets cast in a backdrop encompassing domineering black mountains standing over reflective bay waters to realize an enchanting picturesque outlook that can be underwhelmingly described as amazing. A quick glance across the town reveals an endearing medieval architecture consisting of 15th-century churches, minute squares, and winding streets sandwiched by beguiling antique and jewelry shops of all manner. Across the Mediterranean in its entirety, only this coastal town has managed to completely preserve past-century fortifications giving it the appearance of a city still at the heart of an ancient era. The Cathedral of Saint Typhon is certainly the perfect epitome of this with this 7th-century establishment barely looking a day old from the time it was built save for the worn out coats of paint and faded rooftops. Stoney beaches alongside magical waterfront restaurants round off the town’s periphery quite splendidly.
2) Split, Croatia
Delicately balancing the appeal of vibrant modernity and the nostalgic historical theme of yesteryears, Split is a lovely Croatian town with a little bit of something for everyone. Alluring modern day buildings are in the minority with Venetian and roman-styled structures taking the lion’s share of occupancy providing the image of a town frozen in time. The coastal views encompassing sun-soaked beaches, beautiful palm treasures, and enticing sea promenades are indescribably stunning and so too is the collection of attractive islands just a stone’s throw away. Split’s arguably most notable highlight is the UNESCO branded Diocletian’s palace that harbors intriguing tales and sumptuous sights numbering in the centuries. There is a similar story on display throughout the town which is best experienced via the convenience of a Split taxi at the hands of an experienced local who knows the town’s treasures like the back of the hand.
3) Kas, Turkey
Over the years, opinions have been split as to whether Turkey is classified as part of the Middle East or a European state however if there is one thing everyone agrees on, it’s that Turkey avails a coastal beauty like no other. Kas, in particular, is a sumptuous highlight of the gorgeousness of this part of the Mediterranean stretch that encompasses lovely turquoise water fronts greeted by endless lovely sands and overlooked by beautifully curved peaks with hairs of overflowing forest green. The town’s history is dotted with well-preserved imprints of the Lycian with centuries-old sarcophagi evident across roads and shallow waters and Lycian tombs hidden away in the depths of various mountains. Beside spectacular coastal scenery, the salt-rich waters necklacing the quiet town of Kas serve up fished-filled bays excellent for diving and an enticing environment perfect for swimming.
Other breathtaking coastal cities worth a mention include Slovenia’s Piran, Crete in Greece, San Sebastian in Spain and France’s very own Saint-Tropez.

Tunisia: the Land of Unexpected Adventures

When you think of beaches, what country springs to mind? Thailand, probably, or maybe Hawaii. When you think of deserts and ancient remains, what place pops into your head? Egypt, likely, or perhaps Jordan. When you think of adventure, where do you want to go? New Zealand? What about art? Paris, of course, or Rome. What about luxury and pampering? Bali?
The list goes on, and I’m betting 99% of you didn’t consider Tunisia when rattling off your list of ideal holiday getaways.
But you should. Nestled in North Africa between Algeria, Libya, and the Mediterranean and Tyrrhenian Seas, Tunisia doesn’t seem a likely place to plan your next trip. It’s a shame, really, because there is so much to see and do in this varied and vastly underrated country.
Table of Contents
Land-Based Adventure in Tunisia
You could spend weeks in Tunisia and not cover all the adventure activities on offer…and that’s just on land! Consider biking through the desert, getting dirty at an archaeological dig, trekking on camels and camping out among the sand dunes, cycling and hiking, riding a horse along the beach, bird watching, touring sites filmed for movies like Star Wars, and more.
The geography of Tunisia is varied, from snow in the Atlas Mountains to rolling hills to semi-arid desert, and climate favourable, with mild winters and hot, dry summers. Conditions are close to perfect for embarking on that African adventure you’re craving.
Water-Based Adventure in Tunisia
Tunisia has over 1000km of coastline, which translates to a heck of a lot of beaches. What’s more, the sand is white and the water’s clear — perfect for kayaking and a spot of diving. (Move over, Thailand!). Naturally, with so much sparkling ocean, there are plenty of water sports to keep holidaymakers occupied, like windsurfing, jet skiing, and kitesurfing.
And the beaches — oh, the beaches — are plentiful; just type “Tunisian beaches” into Google and watch options like Monastir, Raf Raf, Mahdia, and the Kerkennah Islands crop up like dreadlocked dudes on a surfboard.
Air-Based Adventure in Tunisia
Where there’s land and sea, there’s sky, and a trip to Tunisia wouldn’t be complete without taking to the air. You’ve seen the postcards of hot air balloons over Cappadocia — why not ride one over the Sahara Desert, or smaller Tunisian villages and oases? You can paraglide, too, for those who didn’t get enough of an adrenaline hit from the quad-bikes or jet skis.
Have an all-elemental experience when you choose to trip around North Africa.
Shopping, spas, and culture in Tunisia
When you’re suitably tanned from the beaches, weary from the desert treks, and windblown from the paragliding, it’s often high-time for a round of pampering. Tunisia boasts many top-quality resorts, and we all know what that means…spa days! Aside from a range of beauty treatments — including thalassotherapy, which is the use of heated seawater, mud packs, or seaweed to aid pains caused by conditions like arthritis — Tunisian resorts offer saunas, hammams (Turkish baths), and full makeovers for nights on the town. You’ll be grateful when sand starts trickling out your pores!
Once you’re pampered and refreshed again, it’s time to hit up the ancient Medinas for some retail therapy. These markets are packed to the brim with all kinds of items, such as traditional tea, carpets, spices, pottery, and delicate embroidery. Remember to always negotiate a fair price, and have fun in the process — it’s all part of the game!
Finally, wander the side streets and emerge at one of Tunisia’s incredible art galleries or music clubs. If you’re present in the country during July and August, be sure to check out the Carthage International Festival. It’s Tunisia’s biggest arts event, held in the old Roman amphitheatre — a great place to hear jazz and African sounds echoing off its chambers.
So…do you think you’re ready for tantalising Tunisia?
Click the link provided above and start booking your Tunisian getaway. Clue in on this (fairly) well-kept secret, and still a glittering jewel of North Africa.

AirAsia Cancellation Policy
Well, you can cancel your ticket for free if you do it as per the AirAsia cancellation policy 24 hours. I bought a refundable ticket, which is why the process was a little easier for me. Check out the following to know more:
· For Refundable Tickets
Even though these tickets will cost you a little more, you can save a huge amount as well as precious time when it comes to cancellation. I am saying this because when you have a refundable ticket, you can cancel it for free. Even you can make changes to your booking by paying the difference amount. In case of flight cancellation, you will get a full refund in the account you have used during the flight booking.
· For Non-Refundable Tickets
Before you think about the AirAsia cancellation charges, let me tell you that one thing – you will not be provided with any refund if you cancel your non-refundable tickets. Additionally, you will have to pay an extra amount while doing a new booking.
How to Cancel AirAsia Domestic/International Flight Tickets?
Since I met with an accident, it was not possible for me to travel to the nearest airport or the ticketing office to cancel my ticket. But thanks to the airline as they provide its passengers with multiple flight cancellation modes that include official website, mobile app, via a phone call, and offline methods. So, I chose to cancel my ticket through the official website and followed the steps mentioned below:
· Go to the official website of the airline
· Use your credentials to log in
· Now, enter your reference number and the last name in the fields
· Click on the ‘Cancel’ button
· Once the ticket is cancelled, you will be notified on your mail ID or phone number
· If you are eligible for the refund, then you will get it within the time period given by the airline
Air Asia Ticket Cancellation Charges and Refund Policy
The AirAsia flight cancellation charges depend on the cabin class or fare type and destination chosen. So, you can call on the AirAsia flight cancellation phone number to learn more about the charges levied. Besides, certain rules will be applied when it comes to the refund policy of the airline. First and foremost, you must have a refundable ticket. In case you do not have a refundable ticket, you must cancel your flight as per the AirAsia cancellation policy 24-hour.
How to Request a Full Refund Online?
Well! My refund process was quite convenient and easy. But I am still mentioning the refund request process so that others don’t have to worry about anything. So, look at the steps involved in the refund request:
· Browse through the official website of Air Asia
· Click on the ‘AVA Button’ available on the lower right corner
· A chat box will open, type REFUND
· A menu list will open, select ‘AirAsia New Refund Request’
· Some more options will open – Flight Cancellation, Flight Reschedule, Double Payment, and Duplicate Booking. Choose the most appropriate option
· After this, enter your Booking Code to proceed further
· Keep following the steps to complete the process
I would only say that read everything in detail before or while booking your flight tickets with AirAsia. Even though the AirAsia flight cancellation charges are not so high if you have a refundable ticket, you should clarify everything beforehand to avoid unnecessary hassles later.

Apply for Mexico Tourist Card Online with Natvisa

Mexico, a favorite vacation destination, is now becoming increasingly popular with tourists all over the world. People who have been patiently waiting for an opportunity to fly to this land of priceless tourist spots can now make their dreams come true. Mexico’s FFM system for foreign travelers made an even greater plea to visit the country.
A tourist card, also known as FMM (Forma Migratoria Múltiple), is an electronic entry permit for tourism or recreation. The card is issued to tourists irrespective of their nationality or commuting mode like land or by air. Visitor cards may be legitimate for up to 180 days and enable the holder to stay in Mexico as a traveler for the time allotted.
Be sure to hang on to your tourist card and keep it in a secure place because you will need to hand it in when you leave the country.

Is Mexico Tourist Card and Mexico Visa Same?
Whether a foreign citizen requires a visa or an entry permit to travel to the country is determined by the Mexico visa policy. Depending on the applicant’s nationality, the duration of the anticipated stay, and the journey’s intent, Mexico provides various types of visas and travel documents.
The Mexico Tourist Card is not the same as a visa to Mexico. Although some international travelers are excluded from a visa, they still require an FMM.
Mexican visas are papers issued by the National Institute of Migration, under the Interior Secretariat’s authority. A visa must be obtained by a foreign national wishing to enter Mexico. Unless he/she is a resident of one of the 67 eligible visa-exempt countries or one of the three eligible countries of the Electronic Authorization System for a prolonged stay, including commercial or study purposes.
While the Mexico Tourist Card can only be used to visit Mexico for tourism and leisure purposes, it does not give the holder the freedom to work in the country or to look for jobs.
Mexico Card Types
Tourist card-Land
- A valid and current passport or card password shall be held by the FMM applicant under international law provisions.
- If required by the country of citizenship, the passport must have a valid non-expired visa.
- The FMM is valid for a maximum of 180 days and is legitimate for one entry only.
- The applicant agrees that, through the information provided, the residence condition that he/she obtains is only as a visitor without a work permit.
Tourist Card- Air
- The applicant for entry by air of an electronically obtained FMME must have a valid and unexpired passport following international law provisions.
- It has a maximum validity of 180 calendar days for entry by air. It may only be used for a single entry.
- The permit obtained by entering the information shall be that of a visitor without a license to carry out profitable activities.
