1. Sediment Filter

2. Reverse Osmosis Filter
A reverse osmosis filter uses a semipermeable membrane to separate inorganic particles from the water to produce the cleanest drinking water possible.
These systems can remove up to 99 percent of contaminants, including minerals. However, they can’t remove soluble volatile compounds, as well as some solvents, pesticides, and chlorines.
The reverse osmosis filtration rate takes longer, so most of these systems come with a pressurized tank for storing filtered water. Reverse osmosis offers the strongest filtration against the majority of contaminants found in drinking water. These systems also come with a long lifespan of two to three years.

3. Activated Carbon Block Filtration
An activated carbon block filtration system consists of fine carbon powder held together by a binding agent that keeps it static. Unlike other filtration systems, an activated carbon block filtration can effectively remove chlorine, as well as other water contaminants like lead and volatile organic compounds.
These systems also have a high resistance to bacteria growth. When water moves through the pores of an activated carbon block filter, all the large impurities are mechanically absorbed and accumulated on the carbon surface.
At the same time, positively charged active carbon components attract negatively charge chemicals such as chlorine to remove their odor and taste.
Activated carbon block filtration systems are affordable and can be customized to different designs and applications. They also have a long filter life and retain essential minerals. However, these systems don’t achieve a very high water flow rate, and they can’t remove dissolved solids and excess minerals.
